THTR 320 Dramatic Forms and Genres

This course provides a systematic survey of the major genres and forms of dramatic literature. Through a coordinated examination of plays, dramatic theory, and production history, students engage in a dramaturgical analysis of a wide variety of texts. Students will present several short oral and written reports, and a substantial research paper.
