THTR 314 Special Topics in Acting
This course builds on the theoretical concepts and foundational skills acquired from the freshmen and sophomore levels of the Acting/Theatre Performance curriculum, and offers students the opportunity to choose further study to inform their individual development as actors. Topics are offered on a rotating basis, and focus on a specialized aspect of acting technique while incorporating advanced research and dramatic analysis. Past topics include Acting for Camera, Stage Combat, Clown Techniques, Commedia dell’arte, and Viewpoints. This course may be repeated for a total of 6 credits, but the topic may not be repeated. Additional lab fee applies.
