BUS 316 Organizational Behavior
Modern applications of psychology to the world of business are emphasized in this course. Class participation exercises will be used to enhance understandings of concepts and improve communication skills. A mixture of theoretical approaches, experimental literature, case studies and action methods will be used to illustrate the following topics: motivational concepts related to work; the structure of a business organization, including leadership, management and control; group dynamics such as communication systems, decision-making and conflict resolution; and growth concepts such as training and development.
