THTR 251 Introduction to Art Direction for Film and Video
An introduction to the methods and practice of Art Direction will be studied through a combination of lectures; film clips, video examples, hands-on practical demonstrations and student projects. In Art Direction, students will learn script breakdown and analysis, character/location research, concept development, location scouting, general design principles, and model making. There may be additional lab hours needed to complete class assignments.
