THTR 212 Acting: Beginning Scene Study
This course is designed to continue the training acquired during THTR 211: Process and Technique. Students further develop foundational principles and techniques, concentration, imagination, expressive freedom, personal exploration, and rehearsal process. Students begin to incorporate script analysis, voice and body awareness, and a basic ability to identify and play character objectives and actions into the performance of scenes and monologues from published, contemporary plays. Written assignments offer opportunities for context and reflection. Additional lab fee applies.
