ART 352 3-D Animation

This course will delve into advanced techniques using professional 3-D software. The course will be inclusive of modeling, sculpting and time-based animations. Areas of inquiry will address advanced 3-D techniques inclusive of compositing (customizing attributes using Nodes), applying Physics (such as fire and rain), Mapping textures and images on 3D models, customizing keyframes using the Dope Sheet and Graph Editor, Sculpting and drawing (using the Grease pencil). In addition, advanced lighting, Camera and rendering techniques will be explored. Portfolio quality models and videos will be created.  Additional lab fees apply.
