ART 330 Advanced Photography Practices

This course examines the variety of genres and varied approaches employed by contemporary lens-based artists. The aim of the course is to broaden students’ knowledge of contemporary practices to facilitate their ability to cultivate new content and methodology to enhance their individual photo-based practice.  This course will challenge students’ creative interests and introduce advanced working methodologies. Student will research, analyze, and synthesize the creative output of leading contemporary photographers through a variety of photography projects to advance their knowledge and skills. This course can be repeated for up to 6 credits.
