ART 302 Figure Drawing II
This course provides students with further study of the theoretical underpinnings of the human figure as an expressive form in space. Through lectures and class discussions, visits to museums and galleries, readings and research, students acquire awareness of the multiple ways the figure has been represented both historically and in contemporary society. They in turn are encouraged to develop a personal style and individual use of the media. Course may be repeated for an additional 3 credits. Additional lab fee applies.
