EWL 320 Immigration, Exile, and Migration in Literature 

This course explores the literature of writers displaced by force or migrating (or immigrating) by choice.  Topics may include: the relationship of immigration to the national identity of writers, the role of exile in literary production, the concept of the writer as migrant, and the politics of language choices in literary production.
