BUS 313 Sales Management

This course is designed to give students a basic understanding of both sales functions and management of the sales force. Elements of the sales function will emphasize selling demonstrations and presentations. Sales management topics include organizing, recruiting, training, supervising, compensating, and motivating sales personnel. The difference between retail and industrial selling will be examined. A sales simulation program will be a component of the course.
