THTR 317 Design for Directors & Choreographers
This is a one-semester course that will give students an understanding of the design process. There will be an emphasis on visual clues in text and music, research methods, and collaborative skills. Students will also gain a brief history of design and knowledge of a design vocabulary. The course will explore the common ground in designing sets, lights, costumes, media or sound as well as their specific goals and needs. Additional lab fee applies.
