Minor: Costume Design, 14-15 Credits

The Costume Design Minor is for students who have a passion for drawing, fashion, storytelling, and creating theatrical worlds. It allows students majoring in a variety of art, dance, communication, and theatre disciplines a program to expand their skills and horizons in the world of entertainment design. Opportunities for internships and professional learning experiences in the garment and theater districts of NYC are included in the curriculum. Studying costume design, in practice and theory, deepens our understanding of communication and the collaborations involved in the world of theatrical arts, entertainment and beyond.
