THTR 313 Collaborative Costume Production
In this costume practicum course, students will collaborate with one another on costumes for Marymount mainstage productions as well as experience hands-on training in New York City through a variety of methods including field trips to the Garment District, Wholesale District and professional costume shops. Students will also meet working professionals through guest speaker experiences. Students will receive direct faculty mentorship through all aspects of realized costume production work including wardrobe, styling, hair and makeup design, assistant design, sourcing and purchasing, crafts, builds, and design.
