THTR 321 Collaborative Workshop
This course examines closely the process of collaboration – beginning with the inception of an idea, through development, and final presentation. It draws upon the skills and techniques offered throughout all of our Theatre Arts programs (Acting, Directing, Producing and Management, Design, Theatre and New Media, Writing for the Stage, Dramaturgy, etc.), and encourages students to combine their own discipline with others’. The course culminates in each student spearheading their own “dream project pitch” that they must document and analyze with a series of outside collaborators.
