HIST 322 Expansion & Disunion, 1815-1890

This course explores the history of the 19th Century in America, with emphasis on the Civil War as a critical mid-point. It focuses on institutional developments; reform movements; westward expansion; slavery; the Civil War, which divided; and the Reconstruction, which did not wholly unite.
