COMM 205 Journalism in the 21st Century
In this course, students develop the skills of writing, researching and reporting with a focus on the impact of new technologies on the field of journalism. They learn how to compose and communicate in networked environments, with mobile technologies, and in a range of media. They enhance their understanding of design as it applies both to visual and information design. They develop their facility with social media, blogging, audio/video podcasting, web design, and document design.
