Community Health and Wellness

To ensure the safety of the College community, MMC has determined a set of community health policies and expectations for all community members.

  • Face coverings: As of July 1, 2022, face coverings are optional. Any changes to this policy will be announced community-wide by the Health and Safety Team
  • Monitoring: Continuously monitor for symptoms of or exposure to COVID-19
    • Notify the College immediately at safety@mmm.edu if you’re feeling ill.
    • If you have had close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 and you are fully vaccinated, you will not be required to practice a precautionary self-quarantine. Instead, vaccinated individuals who have been exposed to COVID should self-monitor for symptoms and test after the fourth day of their exposure.
    • Individuals that are feeling ill should not come to campus until cleared by the Health and Safety Team
    • The quarantine period for unvaccinated or partially vaccinated individuals is 10 days, with the opportunity to shorten quarantine to 7 days following a negative diagnostic test. or have been exposed to someone who is ill or has tested positive for COVID-19, so proper precautions can be taken.
    • Actively participate in testing and contact tracing to preserve the wellness of the community.
    • Avoid bias discrimination and discriminatory behaviors and treat other students, faculty, and staff with the respect every human being deserves, understanding that the virus does not distinguish on race, ethnicity, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, or physical ability.
    • Employ patience and understanding, knowing that this is a dynamic situation.
