CHEM 319 Organic Chemistry II

This course is a continuation of Organic Chemistry I. A thorough analysis of the most important functional groups will be presented, as well as a retro-synthetic approach of organic synthesis. Important biochemical compounds like carbohydrates and lipids, will also be introduced. Three-hour lecture; one-and-one-half-hour recitation.
