PSYCH 342 Social and Emotional Maladjustment in Children

This course presents an overview of childhood and adolescent maladjustment. Major areas to be covered include concepts of normality and abnormality, symptomatology and diagnosis, theories of causality, as well as techniques of intervention, which are useful in treating or educating the emotionally handicapped child, the autistic child and adolescent.
