PSYCH 319 Human Sexuality

This course takes an interdisciplinary approach to the study of human sexuality. The course examines biological, social, and psychological aspects of human sexuality with an emphasis on the causes and treatments of sexually transmitted infections. Other topics include pregnancy, contraception and childbirth. The course also examines how sociocultural beliefs influence beliefs about human sexuality and students will gain an understanding of psychological processes that affect diverse sexual beliefs and behaviors.
