ART 226 Digital Photography

This course is intended to give students an introduction to the basics of image creation using digital cameras. Both technical and creative aspects will be covered, including controlling exposure with the manual settings of the camera, using exposure settings for artistic effects, composition, lighting, critical analysis and presentation of finished work. Readings, discussions, oral presentations, and fieldwork are an integral part of the class experience. Additional lab fee applies.
