THTR 253 Scenery and Prop Technology
Course offers students a fundamental knowledge of the planning, building, finishing and shifting of stage scenery and props. In addition, students engage in a hands-on exploration of the materials, tools, and construction techniques currently used to create scenery and props. Students learn to read a drafting and turn it into a three-dimensional object. Lab hours in addition to class sessions are required. Open to non-majors. Additional lab fee applies.
