PHIL 201 Ancient Philosophy

Differentiation of philosophy from mythic culture, the contributions of the Milesians, Pythagoreans, and Eleatics, the importance of Socrates, Plato’s vision, Aristotle’s work of systematization, the Stoics and Epicureans, and the ecstatic philosophy of Plotinus constitute the content of this course.
