DANC 218 Performing Masculinity in the Ballet Canon
Performing Masculinity in the Ballet Canon emphasizes a specific dimension of movements within the ballet form. Turns and jumps that are particular to traditional male roles in ballet repertoire are studied. This course is open to all dance majors and is a supplementary technique course offered twice per week. Students taking this course are required to attend a 5-day per week technique course. The course may be repeated up to 12 times. Additional lab fee applies.
