Ballet for Non-Majors is an open level investigation into the physical experiences of ballet, coupled with an academic component which emphasizes the history and biographies of prominent figures in the ballet world. The aims of this course are to develop an appreciation of ballet and to use the physical experience to gain strength, flexibility, and fluidity within this style. This course may be repeated once for a total of (4) credits. May be combined with a 2nd Non-Major (2) credit class to be accepted as a Gen Ed DS1. Additional lab fee applies.
Prerequisite
The Dance Department highly recommends that students without any previous dance experience take
DANC 105 prior to taking this course. Prerequisite
