PSYCH 223 Statistics for the Behavioral Sciences I

This course aims at the development of skills in the use of statistical methods as applied to behavioral sciences. The course includes the topics of data collection, types of measurement, populations and samples, tables and frequency distributions, graphs, descriptive statistics of central tendency and variability, correlation, normal curve, and probability. The course introduces the concepts and uses of statistical decision-making, inferential statistics and t-tests.
