PSYCH 216 Developmental Psych II: Adult Years

Viewing development as a process, which continues throughout the human life cycle this course investigates the special issues of the period from late adolescence through early adulthood and middle age, while maintaining continuity with broader developmental issues. Through examination of the research literature and newly developing theories on adult development, the course examines such issues as: the relationship between biological and psychosocial development; the impact and interaction of theory and research; and the integration of cognitive, personality, social and emotional components during the adult years.
