IS 214 The Global Economy
This course will examine the changing nature of the global economy, trying to understand better the complex interaction between transnational corporations and the nation-state set within the context of a volatile technological environment. It will pay particular attention to regional and international trading blocks and international organizations such as the World Trade Organization, The International Monetary Fund, and The World Bank.
