2021-2022 Catalog

PSYCH 491 Senior Seminar

Designed to be an integrative experience for senior psychology majors, this small group seminar will direct the student toward the dual goals of reviewing major content areas within the field and completing assignments to demonstrate major skills. These skills will include writing an analytical literature review, oral presentation of psychological research and theory, and articulation of an integrative knowledge of the broad field of psychology. Working with a seminar coordinator, the entire psychology faculty and psychologists from outside the college will serve as guest lecturers in their areas of expertise and will create assignments, which reflect both content and skills areas.
