PSYCH 250 Introduction to Forensic Psychology

This course focuses on the intersection of law and psychology. Criminal areas studied include assessment of criminal competency and criminal responsibility and the evaluation of treatment for offenders. Civil areas studied include juvenile delinquency, child custody, treatment of mentally disabled individuals, personal injury and workers’ compensation matters. This course explores careers in the psychological, legal and criminal justice fields.
