IS 329 Nationalisms, Regionalisms, Globalisms
Globalization increasingly challenges the political, economic and social framework of the post WWII nation-state system. Three interrelated responses to globalization are emerging: Nationalism, Regionalism and Globalism. This class will examine the histories, tensions and practices of these three reactions, and use them as lenses to analyze contemporary global issues and systemic transformations.
