RS 226 The New Testament

The New Testament is the authoritative collection of scriptures in the Christian tradition, and its cultural influence has been profound and widespread. This course engages in historical and literary analysis of the text, with a special emphasis on its development and genres: the gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John), the Pauline letters, history of the early Christian movement (Acts), and apocalyptic (Revelation).
