Minor: Politics and Human Rights, 18-19 Credits

The minor in Politics and Human Rights (PHR) prepares students to engage with the major issues that shape our lives, as citizens and as members of a global community. It consists of 9 credits covering the foundations and theory of politics and human rights, as well as 9 elective credits to be chosen in collaboration with a PHR faculty advisor.

Electives are separated into two categories: Governance and Culture. At least one elective must be from each cluster. The third course may be drawn from either cluster, or from the Theory and Methods or Experiential learning menus. At least two electives must be at the 300-level or higher.
