Registration and Records
Students’ academic records are maintained by the Registrar. All processes/transactions pertaining to registration and the updating of academic records are conducted in the Center for Student Services. Students seeking assistance with any matters concerning their academic records are directed to the student service representatives in the CSS.
Because academic records change continuously throughout a student’s progress toward degree completion, the following procedures are conducted in the CSS:
- Registering for courses and making program changes.
- Registration in special courses (e.g. profession immersion, internships, and independent study)
- Withdrawing from courses or from the College after submitting an Official Total Withdrawal Form with the Office of Academic Advisement.
- Obtaining official transcripts via National Student Clearinghouse’s Student Self-Service in the student portal.
- Obtaining enrollment verification certificates available through Student Self-Service in the student portal. Students can still request an enrollment verification manually by filing an Enrollment Verification form.
- Processing official name changes (based upon sufficient documentation) and preferred name changes (first name only).
- Requesting Maintenance of Matriculation.
- Process Hunter or Pace Consortium registrations.
- Process study abroad applications and transcripts.
- Process external transcripts for students who receive permission to take courses outside MMC.
