RS 208 Religion and Social Justice (SJS)

This course explores the religious sources of social justice theories and movements. Conceptions of ethical and political engagement in several traditions will be investigated, with a focus on select issues and case studies, religiously based justice movements and actions, and social justice as a basis for inter-religious dialogue.
