Family Education Right to Privacy Act (FERPA)

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 exists to protect the privacy of the educational record of college students. The College is not allowed to release any information to parents, guardians, or any other party concerning a student’s educational record or disciplinary proceedings without the written consent of the student.
