SPCH 110 Language, Community, and Identity

In this course, Students examine language as a vital part of culture and social structure while discovering how it reflects and shapes the lives of New Yorkers. Students will be provided with the opportunity to conduct research on a Manhattan neighborhood, gaining a better understanding of the use of language as a shaper of our self-identities and of the methods of academic research and writing
