Accreditation and Memberships

Marymount Manhattan College is a four-year college of post-secondary education accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE). The Board of Regents of the University of the State of New York independently chartered MMC to grant degrees. The College is a member of numerous organizations concerned with the advancement of higher education, including the Association of American Colleges and Universities, the Council of Independent Colleges, the Association of Governing Boards of Universities and Colleges, and the Commission of Independent Colleges and Universities. The College is also a member of the Faculty Resource Network, the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities, and The College Board.
