IS 118 Contemporary Global Issues
This course is designed to introduce students to issues in the contemporary world, ranging from political issues and economic issues, to human rights concerns and humanitarian disasters. Students develop broad knowledge and tools to analyze and respond to current political events and economic/political developments. They will develop a framework of understanding for study and analysis which can be used to explore contemporary issues beyond this class.
