IDS 499 Independent Study Capstone

This course builds on IDS 399 with the goal of producing a final project that represents the culmination of their self-designed Interdisciplinary Studies program. This project provides IDS majors with the opportunity to reflect on what knowledge and insights they have gained through their interdisciplinary study of their topic, in close conjunction with their faculty advisor and/or capstone sponsor, and IDS faculty committee. The project may take the shape of a traditional research paper of about 30-40 pages, or a project that draws upon appropriate disciplines and skills (e.g., multimedia, performance, digital humanities, data visualization, artistic/scholarly production, etc.).
