QUEST Program
QUEST is an adaptation of our Liberal Studies Program (LSP), a program designed for students who are not yet ready to declare a major. Similar to the Liberal Studies Program, the goal of QUEST is to help students explore their passions and interests while making progress towards degree completion. This new and exciting program creates structured academic pathways and learning communities for undecided students, allowing them to satisfy their general education requirements and explore different academic disciplines before declaring a major. As part of QUEST, students participate in three one-on-one advisement meetings with a QUEST Advisor, who guides students through the process of academic exploration. QUEST students will take a linked pairing of New York City Seminar and WRIT 101 (depending on their Writing placement), two courses within one interest area (chosen by the student), MMC 101, and a math or elective course. The five interest areas are:
- Creative Production
- Environmental Sustainability
- Human Development and Wellness
- Leadership and Ethics
- Social Justice
