EWL 225 Global Modernisms

In this course, students study the literary and cultural movement known as “modernism” from a global perspective. In doing so, they compare and contrast the fundamental tenets of this movement as they inform literary and artistic productions in specific regions and countries, including the United States, Great Britain, Africa and Asia.
