DANC 457 Techniques of Teaching Dance II 

Through experiential, hands-on learning, this course develops the ability to deliver sound pedagogical practices in teaching dance techniques to a variety of populations. Students examine the values and goals of dance in education and fundamental movement principles as related to the teaching of Ballet, Modern and Jazz techniques. Through lectures, readings and practice, students develop analytical skills for facilitative correction while also cultivating their personal teaching philosophies.
