COMM 331 Small Group Communication

This course is designed to acquaint students with the theory and practice of small group interactions through readings, lectures, case studies, class discussion, and group projects.  Students will examine the following:  the emergence of small groups, social influence, cohesion, conflict, leadership, dyadic relationships, persuasion, decision-making, conflict resolution, technology, and culture.  Students will gain a deeper understanding of the function of communication within the small group setting.
