ART 166 Exploring the Visual Arts

This is an innovative course designed to familiarize students with a broad spectrum of the visual arts and to facilitate the development of analytical skills. Through visits to art museums and galleries, and film and video screenings, students are introduced to new ways of looking at the visual arts. Readings provide a necessary background for class discussion.
