PHYS 261 General Physics I

This course explores basic concepts of mechanics, heat and sound. It includes computer-assisted problem solving techniques. Laboratory experiments are designed to help the student probe empirical truths about the physical world. Three-hour lecture; one-and one-half-hour recitation; three-hour lab. Additional lab fee applies.
