IDS 299 Independent Study/Internship

Normally, IDS majors take this independent study/internship during their Junior year.  If students register for an independent study, it is usually with their faculty advisor.  The goal of this independent study is to provide an opportunity for students to bring together the various facets of their study, to explore the interdisciplinary connections that link the various courses they have taken to this point, and to chart a course for their final year of study.  In consultation with their faculty advisor, IDS majors may also choose to fulfill this requirement by completing an internship in a field that is related to their topic of study.
